SEND Parent Support Group

We are an informal and welcoming group which seeks to provide dialogue along with peer support for parents and caregivers of children with Special Educational Needs.

Aims:

  1. To offer supportive, non-judgemental space
  2. Allow sharing of experience and information
  3. Help to connect a community of parents and caregivers who may have similar concerns

The purpose of each meeting is to provide a space for sharing information, experiences, and to enable parents and caregivers to find support from one another.

Come along for a cup of tea and a chat in the schools SEND support base, the 'LINK' room where you can meet and discuss issues with professional facilitators from a range of services who work within the Special Educational Needs sector.

If you would like to learn more about the ways in which we at Telford Priory School work alongside the local authority to support your child with SEND, please come along to our Parent Support group, hosted by Mrs Phillips (SENCO) in the schools LINK support base. Dates for 2020-2021 to be confirmed.

If you have any further questions, please contact Mrs Helen Phillips (SENCO) on helen.phillips@taw.org.uk
