Scientists have found that there is no limit to what the human brain can learn - all it takes is practice. Lots of research has also found that students who do extra practice work outside of lessons, make significantly more progress than those who don’t – the practice you do at home will help you get better. You can get good at any subject just by practising it! So we must all do our home learning so that we can be the best that we can be.

In years 7 and 8, we have set a home learning timetable that you must follow. If you are in an AL group, you will follow a slightly different timetable. You can access the home learning timetables by clicking on the links below. Your teachers will set work for you to complete using this timetable and all home learning will be set on Microsoft Teams – please see the instructional video below to help you access your work:

All of the home learning that is set in years 7 and 8 will be based around the learning you have been doing in the classroom. It will be an opportunity to practice and consolidate what you have been doing at school, so that you can become better!
