A Brief Introduction to the Geography Department

Through our powerful geography curriculum, students are introduced to new and exciting places, and people from around the world. Our aim is to create competent global citizens, that are well equipped to succeed in an ever-changing world. Within the classroom, students will develop a range of core geographical skills including formation and processes, locational understanding and the interpretation of maps and graphs. Students will develop analytical skills and be able to confidently share their thoughts and ideas, bringing together a wealth of human and physical geography knowledge to underpin and enhance their own opinions.
