School Closure - Monday 11th December

Due to the poor weather conditions which are set to worsen, school will be closed on Monday. Please be safe and careful on the roads.

Weather - Important Announcement

Good morning,

The Telford Priory School have been open to meet students who have travelled into school, however given the worsening weather conditions we are intending to close the school early.

Students are able to remain on site till 2.35pm with a skeleton staff, however if you wish your child to leave early this must be communicated with school. Please be aware that we will experience an influx of calls so please bear with us as we manage a difficult situation. Your child’s safety is our main priority as always.

Christmas Fayre & Concert

On the 13th Of December we will be holding our annual TPS Christmas Fayre & Concert.

There will be lots of festive activites taking place in school including choirs, stalls, crafts, fun and games, and even a visit from Santa and his/her Elves!

This will then be followed at 7.00pm by our TPS Christmas Concert which will feature our TPS Choir, Swing & Soul Bands, and Solo/Ensemble performances of festive classics.

We will also be serving warm Mince Pies and (non-alcoholic) Mulled Wine. Why not come down and join in the festive fun?

Entry to our Christmas Concert is just £2.50 or £1.00 concessions. All proceeds will go towards the TPS Choir's summer tour.

We are pleased to announce that Telford Priory School have partnered with tootoot

Tootoot is an anonymous website that students can log into, and tell us if they are worried about anything at all. It might not just be bullying, it could be a problem at home, or about a friend, anything at all that they're worried about. Students are able to log in and tell us about it in confidence.

Students can also get tootoot on their smartphone or tablet from the app store, and can log into it in exactly the same way as they can on the website.

We're launching tootoot here so that students can all feel safe in school. We don't want anything getting in the way of learning at Telford Priory School, that's the most important thing to us and Tootoot is there to use whenever its needed.

Stranger Danger

There have been reports of unknown males and females loitering around schools at the beginning and end of the day, The Telford Priory School takes this extremely seriously and does deploy staff outside of school at the beginning and end of the day. However we advise our parents and students to take extra precautions to keep their children and themselves safe.

C'est magnifique!

Year 8 Flexible Learning Day – Create your own Eiffel Tower!

On Monday, Year 8 students were tasked with designing and creating an Eiffel Tower made entirely out of newspaper and sellotape. They were even required to add a lift for passengers! Students needed to do research to find out how best to use newspaper to construct a tower of around 1 metre with the strength to be able to stand freely. A real challenge! Well done to all students who completed a structure but we think this is the best...
